1Automatic forecasting

No budget to build. Your forecast is ready when you are.

PersonaFi reads your transactions, finds the pay, bills and spending that repeat, and carries them forward month by month from your real bank balance. You can change any line; you never have to.

  • Spots what repeats and when: fortnightly pay, monthly rent, quarterly bills
  • Averages the rest, like groceries and fuel
  • Shows where this month is heading, and the months ahead, before they happen
  • Flags months where cash dips, and puts planned life events into the forecast

2Benchmarking

Find out what's normal, for households like yours.

"Spend less" is useless advice. PersonaFi compares your spending, income, saving and net worth with Australian households of the same make-up and age, using ABS survey data brought forward for inflation, so you can see exactly where you're above the pack and by how much.

  • Matched on who's in the household and your age
  • Spending, income, savings rate and net worth
  • The gaps become your suggested cuts, with the saving worked out
  • Where you're already below average, it says so too

3AI coach personas

The same numbers, in a voice you'll actually listen to.

Pick your coach and turn the humour and bluntness up or down. They explain how your month is going, what's driving it and what the cuts would do. PersonaFi works out every number first; the coach only puts it in words, and a reply with a figure that isn't in the facts is thrown out.

Coaches explain your spending, forecasts and scenarios. They don't recommend financial products or tell you what to do with super, investments, insurance or loans.

4Next: ask what a change would do ↓
Same facts, two coachesExample
Uncle Stavros · humour highRe Sam! $1,690 a month on groceries? Even my village feeds fewer people on that. Households like yours spend $820. Bring it down and that's $10,440 a year back in your pocket, pethi mou.
Alice the Analyst · directGroceries are your largest gap: $1,690 a month against $820 for similar households. Closing it could add $10,440 to your cash over a year.

Facts both were given: groceries $1,690 a month; similar households $820; closing the gap frees up $10,440 a year. Made-up numbers.

Asking about a homeExample

What if we buy a $750k place in mid-2028?

Alice the AnalystI ran it through your plan. The deposit and buying costs would take your cash below zero in July 2028. With March 2029 instead, the model keeps your cash above zero the whole way.
Price$750,000
Deposit and buying costs$180,000
Loan$600,000
Repayments (6.2%, 30 years)$3,675 a month
Rent you'd stop paying$2,600 a month

In July 2028 your cash would be $22,000 short.

Modelling based on your numbers and the assumptions shown. Not financial advice.

Every figure comes from the plan before the coach says a word. Made-up numbers.

4Ask your coach

Ask anything about your money. Get your own numbers back.

Type a question the way you'd say it. Your coach answers from your transactions, your forecast and your plan, and runs what-ifs straight through them, so you see what a choice does to your cash and net worth before you make it.

  • Day to day: what's safe to spend until payday, which bills are coming, anything unusual
  • What-ifs: a new car, a pay rise, a baby, losing your job, buying a home
  • If a choice would run your cash out, or mean selling something, it says so first
  • One tap adds it to your plan, and you can take it out again

It's modelling, not financial advice. Your coach shows what your own numbers say under the assumptions on screen; it never tells you what to buy, sell, borrow or invest in.

5Next: commit to it, and track what it's worth ↓

5Commit, track, prove it

Commit to a change. Watch exactly what it's worth.

Most apps stop at the suggestion. PersonaFi keeps your usual-spending forecast as a baseline, puts your commitment into your forecast, and tracks you against it every month, so you can see the dollars your changes have added up to, in cash and in net worth.

  • One click turns a suggested cut into a commitment in your forecast
  • Month by month: met, missed, and how this month is pacing
  • Baseline vs now, in cash and net worth, at 1, 3 and 5 years
  • Miss three months in a row and your forecast goes back to your real habits, so it stays honest

Your data, in plain language

How your data gets in

You export a CSV from internet banking and upload it. PersonaFi never asks for your banking password, and you can delete your account and its data at any time.

What we use it for

Sorting your spending, building your forecasts and comparisons, and writing your coach's summaries. Your data isn't sold.

Your coach's summaries and answers are written by OpenAI's models from figures PersonaFi works out first (category totals, forecasts, your plan). Your name is swapped for a stand-in before anything is sent, and your bank login, email address and full transaction history aren't sent.

Every number traces back

Forecasts come from your own transactions, and you can see and change how each line is worked out. You can download your data or delete your account in Settings at any time.

Read the privacy policy and how we keep your data secure, or email privacy@personafi.com.au with questions about your data.

Know where you're heading. Prove what you've changed.
